Legal

Terms of Service

Effective 17 September 2026

The operator's name and a contact email for privacy requests and legal notices are being added to this page.

In short

Tradeslo is a journal and analytics tool for your own trading. It is not financial advice, never holds your money and can't trade for you.

Keep your data accurate, use read-only connections, and follow the community rules: share lessons, not signals, and keep everyone anonymous. Trading is risky and your decisions are your own.

1. This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Tradeslo. Tradeslo is operated by its founder (name to be added), in Nigeria. A contact email is being added to this page. By creating an account or using Tradeslo, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Tradeslo.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use Tradeslo.

2. What Tradeslo is

Tradeslo is a trading journal and performance analytics tool. It lets you record and import your trades, sync them from supported platforms, analyse your results, review your trading with the help of an AI coach, and take part in an anonymous community of traders.

3. What Tradeslo is not: no financial advice

Tradeslo does not give investment, financial, tax or legal advice. Nothing in Tradeslo, including analytics, insights, scores, AI coach answers and community posts, is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, or a prediction of any market.

Tradeslo is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser or asset manager. It never holds your money or assets and cannot place trades. Every trading decision, and its result, is yours alone.

Trading forex, crypto, indices, commodities and other leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money, including more than you deposit. Past performance, including your own journal's, does not guarantee future results.

4. Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • One person, one account. Don't share an account or create accounts to get around limits or bans.

5. Your data and its accuracy

You own the trading data you put into Tradeslo. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run Tradeslo for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Analytics are only as accurate as the data behind them. Trades you enter by hand or import are your responsibility. Data synced from brokers and exchanges comes from those platforms, and delays, gaps or errors on their side can affect your figures. Always check important figures against your broker or exchange statements.

6. Connecting brokers and exchanges

  • Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to use.
  • Use read-only API keys. Tradeslo refuses keys that can trade, transfer or withdraw, but you're responsible for the keys you create and for revoking them on the exchange when you stop using Tradeslo.
  • Using a connection must not break your broker's or exchange's own terms.
  • We may pause a connection that fails repeatedly or puts the service or your account at risk.

7. The AI coach

AI coach answers are generated automatically from your journal data. We check the figures an answer states against your data, but answers can still be incomplete or wrong, and they are not advice. Use them as a prompt for your own review. AI answers are limited per month, and we may change these limits.

8. Community rules

The community is for learning from each other's experience. When you post, you agree not to:

  • give buy or sell signals for others to follow, or sell tips, courses, signals, account management or any investment scheme;
  • promote products or services, or post links or contact details for them;
  • share personal information about yourself or anyone else, including real names, contact details, account numbers or screenshots that show them;
  • impersonate anyone, including Tradeslo staff;
  • post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or misleading, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
  • try to find out who is behind another member's anonymous name.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Tradeslo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store and display it to other Tradeslo users for as long as it stays in the community. You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

Members can report posts. A post reported by several members is hidden automatically, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

9. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Tradeslo. That includes trying to access other users' data or accounts, probing or attacking the service, getting around rate limits or AI limits, scraping it, overloading it, reverse engineering it except where the law allows, or using it for anything unlawful.

10. Price

Tradeslo is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans or paid features in future. We will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it first.

11. Tradeslo's intellectual property

Tradeslo's software, design, name and logo belong to its operator. These terms give you permission to use Tradeslo for your own trading journal and learning; they don't give you any other rights in it.

12. Changes to the service and availability

We are constantly improving Tradeslo, so features may change, and some may be removed. We aim to keep Tradeslo available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, for example during maintenance or outages at our providers or at connected platforms.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Tradeslo at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts other users or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections 3, 14, 15 and 17 continue to apply after this agreement ends.

14. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, Tradeslo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that its analytics, insights or AI answers are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tradeslo is not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Tradeslo, including decisions you make based on its analytics, AI answers or community posts, or errors in data from connected platforms.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Tradeslo is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the new effective date at the top of this page, and tell you in advance by email or in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using Tradeslo after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Otherwise, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
